The tube is a sealed polymer line charged with liquefied clean agent and routed through the space you want to protect. It continuously senses heat along its entire length. When a fire pushes the local temperature to ~100°C, the tube ruptures precisely at that point and discharges the agent directly onto the flames — no waiting for a whole room to flood.
